A sample of slides from the recruitment presentation for the Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design.
Working closely with Amanda Bowles, Assistant to the Dean, and Bree Liddell, Graduate Recruitment Specialist, for the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts, by using existing branding guidelines, I designed a new template and presentation for the Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design.
Introductory slide | The GSAUD uses gradients of varying colors to distinguish between the different graduate programs. The overarching colors of the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts are red and blue.
Goals | The official typefaces of the Sam Fox School are the variations of DIN in serif and san-serif. For this project, I also had the choice for a secondary, bold title typeface. Raleway conveys a sense of modernism, sleekness, and professionalism, and its round forms counter the more rectangular DIN.
Example slides | Each of the slides aligns to a grid system. While some images have simple captions or paragraphs, some slides have text which directly interacts with the image. The black bar at the bottom of each slide has a colored tag whose gradient corresponds to either architecture, urban design, or landscape architecture.
